To the residents of Franklin County,

Thank you for being part of a community that continues to move forward together. This report highlights how Franklin County government works alongside residents, businesses, and community partners to expand opportunity and support a strong, thriving region.

Franklin County’s success is driven by its people. County government plays a supporting role by investing in reliable services, modern infrastructure, and programs that create pathways to opportunity. With an annual operating budget exceeding $2 billion, the County remains committed to responsiblestewardship of public dollars while making strategic investments that strengthen neighborhoods andsupport long-term growth.

This strong financial foundation is reflected in the County’s long-standing Triple-A bond rating, which helps keep costs low and supports continued investment in essential services. Critical operations like the 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center ensure fast, coordinated responses when they matter most; while initiatives like the Magnet Fund expand access to safe, affordable housing near jobs and services.

Together, we build opportunities that help every resident grow, succeed, and be part of Franklin County’s future.

In 2025, Franklin County focused on priorities that impact daily life, including job creation, housing stability, transportation, public safety, and access to essential services. Efforts to improve accessibility through mobile services, online tools, and community outreach are also making it easier for residents to connect with the support they need.
