Franklin County Commissioners
Each year, we look forward to sharing everything that county government is working on for our residents. Below, you can learn about the commissioners' core principles of governance and how their team is working to serve all of our residents every day
FROM THE 2026 WELCOME LETTER:
To the residents of Franklin County,
Thank you for being part of a community that continues to move forward together. This report is a glimpse of how your county government is working alongside the people who live and work here to support a strong and thriving Franklin County.
Throughout 2025, Franklin County focused on priorities that touch everyday life, including job growth, housing stability, transportation, public safety, and access to essential services. With an annual operating budget exceeding $2 billion, the County remains committed to using public dollars responsibly and making thoughtful investments that strengthen our neighborhoods and support long-term economic growth.
We also continued working to make county government easier to access and understand. Efforts to expand access, including mobile service units, improved online tools, and community outreach, are making county services easier to reach. By bringing resources directly to residents and simplifying how support is accessed, the County is helping reduce barriers. Whether it’s health resources, housing support, job training, or small business assistance, the goal is to make services easier to find and use.
